Description

From the company that brought you this year’s hit political drama Building the Wall. Take part in the development of a brand new play, in this one-night only staged reading. A dark political drama set in a fictional North American city under siege from a series of bus bombings.

A pair of twisted police investigators cracks down on a group of militant activists. Young lovers search for beauty in the shadows. And a cunning political strategist and her ambitious candidate take full advantage of the opportunities at hand.

Award-winning Ottawa playwright Sean Devine’s blistering new play When There’s Nothing Left to Burn premiered at the University of Lethbridge after winning a national playwriting competition. This show is currently being developed by Toronto’s Crow’s Theatre and Ottawa’s Horseshoes & Hand Grenades.
