The Foods Off the Beaten Track evening is dedicated to some of the weird and wonderful foods grown and foraged in the Gatineau Hills, from wild-sourced sumac juice and tree sap to forest-grown shiitake mushrooms.
Geneviève LeGal-Leblanc of Ferme et Forêt will guide you through an evening of tasting, smelling, and discovering some unusual wild and cultivated foods from her farm. Ferme et Forêt also produces maple syrup, eggs, berries, and more. You will discover how these products are interconnected and contribute to a sustainable farming endeavour.
