The Ottawa Little Italy Festival runs on the second weekend of Italian Week, which has been a premier festival in Ottawa for 36 years now.
Featuring such events as the Ottawa Ferrari Festival, the Italian Car Parade, the Preston Street Bike Race and the fireworks, this three day festival attracts in excess of 125,000 people. One of the best features of this festival, is that Preston Street is closed to traffic, and open to pedestrians. Restaurants extend patios into the street, creating a European village feel, right in the centre of the Nation’s Capital. Visit the website

Preston Street is known as Corso Italia - the heart of Ottawa's Little Italy.  The area is famous for its Italian heritage and events. Ottawa's best food is prepared in restaurants noted for top quality service and cuisine. The majority of the businesses are family operated with "an owner in the store" approach to customer service.  The neighbourhood is enjoying a renaissance with the recent completion of the beautification project that is attracting new businesses and residents to the area.
